Current Volunteer Opportunities 01/30/2024

The AMTA Washington Chapter is seeking volunteers for the Awards Committee, Government Relations Committee and the Membership Committee.

Do you want to share your knowledge and experience with new massage therapists?

Do you enjoy hosting and organizing social events?

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is being revitalized and we need your help and creativity!

We are seeking a range of volunteers to bring fresh ideas to the chapter and commit to working with a team of volunteers to meet virtually every 2-3 months.

Goal: Brainstorm new outreach activities and opportunities for members and volunteers while adhering to AMTA’s mission statement: To serve AMTA members while advancing the art, science and practice of massage therapy. Propose a purpose for the committee with activities and goals and submit to the chapter board for approval.

2-5 volunteers willing to commit to 2-4 hours per month for 1-2 years

Contact Linda at eponabus@gmail.com for information on the first meeting TBA.

Do you love sending people thank you cards or finding the perfect gift for each person on your list?  The Awards Committee would be a great place for your energy and expertise.

Awards Committee

Goal: Brainstorm fresh ideas about showing gratitude and recognition to chapter volunteers. Meeting every 2-3 months via video call to discuss and share ideas, incorporate AMTA National awards and create proposals for the chapter to adopt.
